Formerly a quiet, fishing village, Kamala is a beautiful spot in which to relax and enjoy the still peaceful village atmosphere of this scenic, unspoiled beach. The area behind the beach has developed over the last few years giving a greater choice of local places to eat and drink. More secluded resorts nestle higher up amongst the trees on the headland, capitalising on the wonderful sea and mountain views, and only a few minutes walk to a sandy white beach on the northern end.
